| It's almost time for National Novel Writing Month! This wonderful excuse for reckless writing abandon occurs every November, and the goal is to write a 50,000 word novel by the end of the month. I did it last year, and I'll do it again starting Wednesday. It's oodles of fun.

| It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine...
The odd thing is, I really do feel fine. CTY is over and I can never go back, at least not as a student, but I'm alright. Withdrawal is easier than in previous years. I do reach for my lanyard a few times a day when I want my watch or just feel like holding onto it, but instead of crying or feeling depressed when it isn't there, I smile amusedly at my silliness. I think I understand that I'm ready to move on to whatever comes next.
Or it could just be that I'm deluding myself and I'll break down in tears a few days from now. We shall see.

| I'm so happy and bouncy and hyper today! CTY starts tomorrow! I can hardly wait! I know I'm using way too many exclamation marks, but I'm not going to change them!!!
Here's most of what I've packed. Let me know if I'm forgetting anything:
- screaming rubber chicken
- five rolls of duct tape (two original color, one each of red, white, and black)
- sidewalk chalk
- books
- electronic dictionary
- bubble solution and bubble blowers
- masking tape
- iPod speakers
- pillows and teddy bear
- yarn to crochet
- lanyards
Also, I need advice. What do you guys think of the idea of tie-dying a bra or two, logistically? I mean, they aren't especially padded or anything, but they're certainly quite a bit thicker than t-shirts. Do you think it would work? Would it ruin the bras? Would they ever dry? Thanks in advance!
